Way More Than You Need To Know
WHOS RICK

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, and graduated from the University of Arizona.
For 35 wonderful years, I've been married and am proud
to be the father of three amazing boys.
For 12 years, I owned and successfully built a hot tub dealership,
which I eventually sold for millions.
Throughout my life, I’ve been incredibly blessed.
From an early age, I learned the importance of teamwork and that success isn’t something you can achieve alone. As you’ll see in the video below, one key factor is focus. When I set my sights on something, I give it my complete attention. It becomes my obsession—I think about it day and night, and I give everything I have until I achieve my goal.
My success is driven by my loyalty, trust, gratitude, authenticity, competitiveness, courage, passion, sociability, and analytical thinking. I’m a problem solver, and I truly enjoy the challenge of winning.
My purpose in life is simple: to make things better than they are.

I Started My Professional
Sales Career at 12 Years Old

Indeed, I held the top position in sales at the age of 12 by consistently selling the highest number of cups of Coco-Cola through the hustle of navigating a 50,000-seat University of Arizona football stadium. This experience marked a continuation of my lifelong sales journey. During high school, I initiated a successful event organization with events that consistently sold out. In college, my achievements included winning a national marketing contest and being handpicked by an upper division film professor, to work exclusively for 20th Century Fox as the sole student representative. Upon graduating, I entered the professional arena, kickstarting my career with a 50 million dollar material handling company. There, I rose to the role of a professionally trained and award-winning Industrial Sales Manager, achieving success through the establishment of trust with both Fortune 500 companies and local businesses. Maintaining the momentum, I secured the top sales position for 12 consecutive years before venturing into entrepreneurship with the opening of my Hot Tub dealership.

I Miss It
After successfully selling thousands of hot tubs over a span of 13 years, I sold my $5,000 startup for millions. The experience was truly fulfilling, and every moment was cherished. However, the passion for the hustle and the dream lingered even as I exited the door. Although I achieved my dream and made a lucrative sale, there's a part of me that wishes I hadn't let it go. For me, it was never just about the money; I work not merely for financial gain but to accomplish meaningful goals, with money naturally following suit. The camaraderie with friends and family in the business is dearly missed, as is the vibrant engagement in the hot tub industry.
Selling forklifts and designing warehouses for over a decade was undoubtedly a different experience. Clients purchasing forklifts weren't driven by the same excitement as those investing in hot tubs. Hot tub customers were embracing moments of happiness, fun, and relaxation, eagerly anticipating the delivery of their newfound source of joy.
While I may not wish to relive the entire journey, what I aspire to do now is share the wealth of knowledge gained—the successful ideas and strategies, along with the lessons from those that didn't pan out. My desire is to extend a helping hand to fellow hot tub dealers, providing them with insights and tools to "Be More & Sell More."
